Another strong well proportioned female alpaca, she has the advantage of having EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus as her sire and Peruvian Auzengate an an ancestor in her pedigree. She displays a bold crimp in her fleece, maturing at 22 microns in our UK environment. Her daughter Wellground Blue Moon has now been included in our core herd. Blue has recently produced a solid white female cria from Cambridge Buckingham.

One of our EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus genetics at Wellground,  Select also has Jolimont Commisario as her grandsire. Select is a recent addition to our herd and she is selected from specific bloodlines to meet our genetic needs.

Another of our Jolimont Commisario genetics at Wellground, Giselle is a stunning female with fleece characteristics commensurate with her sire's legendary progeny. Giselle has produced a fantastic male offspring called Wellground Legend of Spartacus, who is now working as a herdsire at Barnacre Alpacas in Northumberland. 

Jewel is our only breeding female from EP Cambridge Peruvian Maximus, she has a very fine fleece retaining 19 microns at 4 years of age. She has produced three offspring, one of those is our new herdsire Wellground Close Encounter. In 2009 Jewel  produced a stunning male cria by EP Cambridge Samson called Wellground Banksy, he is showing real promise for the future.  

The first of our Cambridge Buckingham genetics to come into the Wellground core herd, she has the most amazing conformation and the most desirable fleece we have seen on a female alpaca.  Imprint is a the most exciting induction into our breeding herd so far line bred from the genetics of the legendary Jolimont Commisario.

Scarlette is our only breeding female from Jolimont Gianmarco. She has an amazing fleece, very fine with fabulous crimp definition. She has produced a stunning solid white female cria from Australian Herd Sire  EP Cambridge Lypheor. The female cria is called Wellground Grand Illusion, she now features in our core herd. 

Caramela is our only breeding female by EP Cambridge Peruvian Caesar. A male who is retained for in-house matings only at EP Cambridge Stud in Australia. We can see why, she has a remarkable fleece that is still holding at 16 microns at nearly five years of age. Caramela has produced one of our 'core herd' female alpacas, Wellground First Lady by EP Cambridge Samson.

Another of our Jolimont Commisario genetics at Wellground, EP Cambridge Assertive Lass is the latest addition to our core herd. She is from excellent genetics, she has Jolimont Conquistador in her pedigree on her Dam's side. 

Lady Ruffo is a very attractive alpaca, as her name implies she was indeed sired by one of Australia's most admired Herd Sires. NWA Ruffo was bred by Mike Safley in the USA. Ruffo's offspring are legendary, Lady Ruffo is no exception to that carrying a stunning fleece. Lady Ruffo also has Peruvian Hemingway in her pedigree.

Another of our offspring entering into our 'core herd'. Her grandsire's are Jolimont Commisario and EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus, she also has ILR Ppueruvian Auzengate in her pedigree. Stunning genetics in a lovely package. 

Another of our offspring brought into our 'core herd'. Known as 'Lilly the Pink', her grandsire's are NWA Ltd. Ruffo and Jolimont Gianmarco. She has other famous ancestors including, Jolimont Sculptor, Peruvian Hemingway, ILR NWA Ltd. Luminosa and Pperuvian Allin Capac in her pedigree. Grand Illusion is now a member of our core herd.

The only surviving cria of EP Cambridge Advocate, who sadly died not long after import to the UK from Australia. Advocate was one of only two working males in the UK sired by EP Cambridge Peruvian Caesar. Wellground Little Miss Advocate has been inducted into the core herd to replace her dam, EP Cambridge Genyah, a superb breeding female by Jolimont Commisario. 

Sired by Jolimont Commisario and with NWA Ltd. Ruffo in his pedigree as his Dam's Sire, Buckingham has the genetics to lead the way in the UK. His Dam Cambridge Trinity is one of EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud's top breeding females. Buckingham was not shown in Australia before coming to the UK. His full brother EP Cambridge Escalabar ET was awarded Supreme Champion at the 2007 Royal Adelaide Show in Australia. These are really 'Elite Genetics'.

Sired by EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus. Samson is a huge part of our breeding herd. He was imported from Australia having been awarded Reserve Champion Intermediate Male at the 2006 Royal Adelaide Show. In 2008 Samson was shown at the British Alpaca Society - Spring Alpaca Fiesta, where he was awarded Supreme Champion. He has the most amazing fleece qualities.

Lionheart is our latest acquisition. He is our only fawn herdsire. He was sired by Jolimont Gianmarco, (who was sold for a record price in Australia). Lionheart's Dam is Eringa Park Showtime was by Ruffo. Eringa Park Showtime is one of the most decorated female alpacas on the Australian National show circuit. Lionheart has an amazing fleece and will make a huge impact on the Wellground breeding herd.

Sired by Australian National Champion Cambridge Encounter, this young male alpaca is simply superb. With a National Champion in his pedigree along with other famous sires including Jolimont Conquistador and EP Cambridge Peruvian Maximus, he has promising future. His first fleece was shorn and when tested measure an average of 14.7 microns. In his first season in the show ring, he won Champion Intermediate Male at the 2008 Royal Bath and West Show. Wellground Close Encounter is now a herdsire at Wellground Alpaca Stud.
